After revising your manuscript and making sure that it has already been approved by your adviser, you are now ready to upload your manuscript to the repository. Take note that you do not need to print and bind your manuscript. The new requirement is that you have to upload it to the repository.
Here is the process:
1. Make sure that you follow the FICS style guide for formatting.
Have your draft checked by the MDC Program Support (mdcprogramsupport@upou.edu.ph) for formatting according to the FICS Style Guide.
2. Once approved by the MDC Program Support, kindly send a Word file (abstract and chapters 1-5 only) of your manuscript to library@upou.edu.ph for a plagiarism check through Turnitin.
3. After the library has returned your work and determined that you have a similarity index that is 20% and below, kindly send a clean PDF copy of your manuscript. MDC Support will have it signed by your panel.
Note: You will have to revise your manuscript if similarity index is 21% and above and send it again to library@upou.edu.ph for checking.
4. Wait for at least 3 days for the signed copy.
5. Visit the repository helpdesk for the process of uploading your manuscript: https://upou-repository.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000282069-01-getting-started-
6. You will also need to upload it in this Google Form to make sure that we receive the copy and for the processing of your clearance.
